Selling to us
How does selling my cards to GH Games work?
Send a photo or bring the collection in. We price it line by line against recent real sales, on an offer sheet you keep, with two totals: 55% of market in cash, or 70% in store credit. Take either, or take the sheet home — it's valid for seven days. No obligation.
How do you decide the offer?
Every card is priced against what it has actually sold for recently — not what it's listed at, which on some games runs far higher than what buyers pay. That market number goes on the sheet beside our offer, and our offer is a fixed share of it: 55% for cash, 70% for credit. Condition is graded on the card, and we'll show you the corner that moved it.
Why does store credit pay more than cash?
Because credit comes back through the door. Cash leaves; credit turns into something off the shelf, which is worth more to us — so we pass that back to you as a higher rate. The big online buylists pay a 30% bonus for credit; our 70% against 55% works out about the same, and it's printed rather than negotiated.
Do I need ID to sell? Is there an age limit?
Yes to both. Florida requires a government photo ID for anyone selling to a shop, and you need to be 18 — or have a parent or guardian present with their ID. We photograph the ID once and keep it with your sheet.
Is there a limit on cash?
Cash on the day up to $500. Above that, a check, a bank transfer, or store credit — your choice, same visit. It's a safety rule for everyone in the room, not a way to push you toward credit.
How long does pricing take?
Under two hundred singles: while you wait, usually under an hour. Bigger than that: leave it with a receipt listing every box and it's priced within 48 hours. Estates and whole stores: we come to you.
Do you buy bulk?
Yes, by count, at the printed rates on the Sell page — per thousand for commons and uncommons, each for bulk rares and holos. Sorted by game and faced the same way, it's counted while you wait.
Will you buy my whole collection, or just the good cards?
Both. We price every line, including bulk by count. If a card is worth more graded than raw, we'll say so rather than buy it cheap.
Do you buy graded cards?
Yes — PSA, BGS, CGC and TAG, priced by grade and population against recent sales of that grade. The slab stays sealed.
Why won't you pay cash for a brand-new set?
For the first fourteen days after street date we buy a set for credit and trade only. Early prices are wrong in both directions, and we'd rather not pay you for one of them. Cash from day fifteen.
What won't you buy?
Games outside the ten we carry, damaged or resealed sealed product, and anything we can't verify as genuine — counterfeits don't leave with you. Modern Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! booster boxes we'll take, but the market clears them below wholesale and the number will show that.
Can I sell by mail?
The mail-in lane opens the day the address is published. Photo first, then we send the address and a reference; you pack it sorted and insured; the sheet is emailed within 48 hours of delivery; declined lines ship back at our cost inside the US.
Do I need an appointment to sell?
Until the shop opens, yes — send a photo through the quote form and we'll set a time. Once we're open, walk in.
Condition
How do you decide a card's condition?
On the card, not the sleeve. Corners, edges, surface and centering, in that order, under a loupe, on your side of the counter. We'll show you the exact spot that moved the grade.
What do the condition tiers pay?
Five tiers on every game: Near Mint pays the full rate; Lightly Played 85% of it; Moderately Played 65%; Heavily Played 40%; Damaged goes as bulk. The full guide with what each tier looks like is on the Sell page.
Do foils and non-English cards count differently?
Foils: a curl under 5 mm is fine; clouding or scratches drop a tier. Non-English cards are priced against their own market, which on most games runs lower, and non-English bulk takes half the printed rate.
Why isn't my unplayed card Near Mint?
Because Near Mint is about the card, not its history. Cards leave the pack with print lines, whitening or off-centering often enough that "never played" and "Near Mint" aren't the same thing. We'll show you what we saw.
Buying & pre-orders
Can I buy cards from you online?
Not from a cart yet. Send a request with what you're after and we'll come back with availability and a price, then arrange pickup in Miami. A live inventory follows opening.
Can you get sealed product I can't find?
Sometimes. Tell us the set and quantity. Distributors allocate, and new sets are oversubscribed — shops routinely receive a fraction of what they ask for on a hot Pokémon set, and Bandai product is ordered six months ahead. We'll tell you honestly what we can and can't source.
How do pre-orders work?
A pre-order is a place in a line, not a guarantee. You pay in full when you order; paid orders are filled first from whatever allocation arrives. If we're allocated less than we sold, everyone at the back gets a full refund — we don't hold your money against product we can't get.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes, any time before street date, for a full refund with no fee. After street date the product is yours, held for pickup.
How long will you hold my pickup?
Thirty days after release or after we tell you it's in. After that it converts to store credit for the amount paid, which never expires.
Do you price-match?
We price against recent sales, not against a competitor's tag. If you've seen a real recent sale lower than our quote, show us and we'll look at it.
What's your returns policy?
Sealed product and singles are final sale once they leave the counter — it's the only way a card shop can stand behind what it sells as untouched. Wrong item or a factory fault, we fix it, no argument. Supplies unopened, 14 days.
Do you ship?
Not yet. Pickup in Miami — by appointment until opening, during hours after. Shipping follows the online inventory.
Store credit & gift cards
Does store credit expire?
Never. Florida law says stored value can't expire or be charged fees, and we wouldn't want to anyway. Your balance sits on your name until you use it.
Can I cash out store credit?
No — that's the trade for the higher rate. It spends on anything in the shop: singles, sealed, supplies, events, grading submissions.
Can someone else use my credit?
Credit is tied to your name. If you want to give value to someone, that's what gift cards are for.
Do you sell gift cards?
From opening day, in any amount, with no expiry and no fees. They spend on everything credit spends on.
Is there a loyalty or points program?
Not at opening. Our rates are the loyalty program for now — 70% in credit on every sale to us is more than any points scheme returns. A proper one is on the list once the register software is in.
Can I trade cards toward something on the shelf?
Yes. Your cards are valued on the same offer sheet at the 70% store-credit rate, and that credit goes toward whatever you're after — same visit.
Play & events
Do you run weekly events and leagues?
A planned weekly grid is on the Events page: Lorcana on Tuesdays, One Piece on Wednesdays, Pokémon League on Thursdays, Commander on Fridays, open tables at the weekend. Each night goes live as its program approves us — the room has sixteen seats, and we'd rather run four nights well than nine badly.
What do events cost, and what do you win?
Entry is $5 to $10 for constructed nights and free for Pokémon League, as listed on the grid. Prizes are the publisher's promos and packs plus store credit. No cash prizes on program events — the publishers forbid it and so does Florida's gambling law for a shop like ours.
Can kids play?
Yes. Pokémon League has no minimum age and the publishers' junior divisions run from age six or so. Under 14 needs a parent in the shop; under 18 needs a parent-created account for the sanctioned programs. Every night is all-ages unless the listing says otherwise.
What are the table rules?
Open tables are free when there's no event on them. Sleeved decks, no food on the mats, no trades on the tables during a sanctioned round, and the code of conduct is the short version of "be someone people want to sit across from." Anyone who can't manage that is asked to leave, once.
Do you have a Discord?
The invite goes live with the doors. Until then, the opening list on the home page is how you hear first.
Is the events board live data?
No — it's curated by hand from the publishers' own calendars and updated regularly. If something near Miami is missing, tell us and we'll add it.
Grading submissions
Do you submit cards for grading?
Yes, from the counter, as group submissions. We check the card under the loupe first and tell you whether it's worth the fee — most cards aren't, and we'd rather say so.
Which grader should I use?
It depends on the card. PSA carries the strongest resale premium and the highest price; CGC sits in the middle and is the best value on volume; TAG grades by machine and is the most consistent; BGS matters for the black-label crowd. We'll tell you which one a specific card deserves.
What does it cost?
The grader's fee plus $5 a card for handling, packing and insured shipping both ways. Grader fees as of September 2026: PSA's cheapest open tier is $79.99 a card with its bulk tiers paused; CGC bulk is $17 a card with a 25-card minimum; TAG's regular tiers are paused with priority from $149. We confirm the live price before anything ships.
How long does it take?
The grader's stated turnaround plus about a week each way in transit. PSA Regular is quoting 70 to 80 business days; CGC Bulk 150 days and Economy 90; CGC Standard 10. We text you when the slabs are back.
What if something happens to my card?
Your cards are insured in transit at the declared value you set with us, and photographed front and back before they leave the counter. You get a receipt listing every card.
Is my card worth grading?
Usually only if it's valuable raw and looks Near Mint or better under the loupe — a 10 can multiply a card's value, an 8 can halve it. Bring it in and we'll look before you pay anyone.
The shop
Where are you?
Miami, Florida. We're working by appointment until the shop opens in September 2026; the street address goes up here the day the doors do.
What are your hours?
Planned Tuesday to Sunday, published with the address. Until then, appointments — usually same day.
Is there a phone number?
The line goes live at opening. Email is answered the same day, and the quote form on the Sell page is the fastest way to reach the counter with a photo.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. The counter does; the site is English first and the Sell page is next to be translated.
What do you carry besides cards?
Supplies — sleeves, binders, toploaders, deck boxes, playmats, dice — from the brands players actually use. See the Supplies page.
Rates, tiers and rules on this page are the ones printed on the Sell page and at the counter. When one changes, it changes everywhere the same day.
